As a newly elected Councillor (8 July 2009) for the Democratic Alliance, I find myself encountering new challenges and adventures everyday.

The Democratic Alliance is in Govenrment in 23 Municipalities across South Africa, and that figure is set to grow in the next Local Government Elections in 2011. But for now we as Councillors are mostly in Opposition to the Ruling party and ensure that we hold them accountable for every decision.
